Admissions Priorities:

AISJ is an international school that provides an American educational experience to the expatriate population of Jeddah.  Because our mission is to serve the needs of the American community, priorities have been established upon which admissions decisions are made.

Admissions decisions are based on the priority categories as defined below, seat availability, and the student’s ability to meet the eligibility criteria. AISJ can accept students who perform academically within one year of grade level.  For the 2013-2014 academic year, admission to the Special Needs program is closed. It is the school’s policy to require two years of study to qualify for a diploma from AISJ. Therefore, with few exceptions, students wishing to enroll in twelfth grade will not be accepted.

It is strongly advised that families considering enrolling their children at AISJ contact the Registrar’s office well in advance of their anticipated enrollment.  Admissions decisions are based on the priority categories as defined below, seat availability, and the student’s ability to meet the eligibility criteria.

Priority Categories (for all grade levels):

First Priority

Students or American Citizens with a current and valid US passport (as indicated on the iqama) and with a sibling presently attending AISJ

Second Priority

Third Priority

Fourth Priority
