A Message from the Principal-High School:
SY 09/10
Dear HS Parents and Students,
Briones
Welcome to the AISJ High School web site. The school year is in full swing now with our new schedule implemented. The feedback that I have received so far has been positive and students, teachers, and parents are taking full advantage of this “rotational mixed block” schedule. It has allowed for more community building and even more efficient use of our facilities.

The normal hours of operation (8:00am – 3:00pm) will resume upon the students return to school on Saturday, October 4, 2008 (after the Eid break). Please ensure that high school students arrive to school between 7:30-7:50am to ensure that they arrive to class on time.

As parents, stay involved with your son/daughter's education throughout the school year. Communication is an essential component of a truly successful school/parent partnership. I encourage you to establish positive communication with your child's teachers. At AISJ, we value your input and we will assist you in any way that we can. Also, please check our school's web site regularly. Our school calendar is posted here as well as important announcements. Please feel free to contact my office (662-0051 ext. 270) at any time should you have any questions or concerns. We appreciate your feedback.

Students are responsible for knowing the contents of the Parent Student Handbook, which is available as a download on this website. I am sure that we can count on all of you to follow these guidelines and make our school one where an excellent education can be gained in an atmosphere of self discipline and respect for others.

I look forward to continued interaction with you during the school year. AISJ High School has a dedicated staff that is committed to providing students with an outstanding high school experience. We want you to continue the tradition of excellence that was established early in the history of the school. We hope it will be your most successful year ever. It is certain to be an exciting school year!

Respectfully,Bruiones Sig
