Message from the President:
Dear Fellow AISJ Family, 
November 4,2009 
As your new Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) officers take their new roles, we would like to thank the previous officers for their dedication and hard work that has helped our school, community and most important, our children. Dr. Zahran and his team have done a remarkable job and established the platform to continue a program of excellence. Their selflessness should be commended. The new PTSA officers would like to thank our school community for the opportunity to serve.

We look forward to the coming challenges and opportunities that we face. Last but not least, I would like to thank you, the parents, for without you we could not accomplish our goals of helping to provide our AISJ family the best school that it can be.

The American International School of Jeddah is where we have chosen to place our trust in educating our children. The PTSA is our opportunity as parents along with teachers and students to get involved and help prepare our children for the future that lies ahead. We encourage all of you to join with us in this wonderfully unique opportunity to make a difference for our children. Our strength lies within each of us joining together to continue to make AISJ the best that it can be. “Team work is the ability to work together toward a common vision, the ability to direct individual accomplishments toward organizational objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results.” Andrew Carnegie.

We are extremely fortunate to have this opportunity for our children to be educated in such a diverse and multicultural environment. Our children will have a much broader view and acceptance of the differences in cultural backgrounds as well as the social gains of interacting in a multicultural environment creating the most well rounded young adults. We need your support and participation to make this happen. The PTSA works in part throughout the year on several extracurricular and social activities that provide the opportunity for such events. Your participation is essential to create a successful environment for our children to grow and succeed into tomorrow’s world. We promise each and every one of you that your participation will be incredibly rewarding to be involved in the education of your children.

So please join us as we embark on a journey that will enrich our children’s lives. We look forward to meeting each and every one of you and working together.
